Kelly Kennedy is the creator, host and producer of I Used To Work There, where people share the workplace stories they’ll never forget. From outrageous encounters and terrible bosses to survival, loss and the unexplained, Kelly brings together firsthand accounts that reveal just how extraordinary an ordinary workday can become.

Based near Edmonton, Alberta, Kelly also created The Business Development Podcast. With I Used To Work There, his focus is on the people behind the punchcards, giving storytellers space to be funny, vulnerable and honest as each episode moves from Day Shift into Night Shift.

Since launching in March 2026, I Used To Work There has won the Quill Award for Best New Podcast, been featured in Apple Podcasts’ New & Noteworthy, and grown to more than 10,000 Apple followers.

At its heart is Kelly’s belief that some of the best stories aren’t written. They’re lived at work.
